Unfortunately, supply chains continue to be significantly impacted by Covid-19. This recent Forbes article highlights the disruption Covid-19 and other factors have on worldwide supply chains. Covid-19 has caused manufacturing to run at a limited capacity with multiple related shutdowns, which has disrupted overall product supply and sub-component supply for future builds. These events have impacted manufacturer’s ability to build units, which has reduced inventory. Coming out of the many worldwide shutdowns, manufacturers have seen a significant spike in demand, which has caused massive inventory shortages.
For these reasons, manufacturers are allocating product into distribution. The inventory we receive is not enough to cover dealer backorders, making products unavailable on our portals and pushing back availability dates.
We process dealer backorders on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis. Your best chance at receiving an out of stock product as soon as we get enough allocation, is to place a backorder.
