“In a rare mishap, a Partner’s enormous shipment was mishandled by a freight provider and the shipment was caught in the rain. The entire shipment was drenched to the extent that the boxes were falling apart and the contents were damaged. The Partner was devastated. But Marcel, as the Area Sales Manager was quick to act. He personally visited the Partner and assisted in evaluating each item in the shipment, and worked with Support to begin the return process on the many affected items. I was extremely impressed by his commitment to this Partner with such a compassionate and personal approach to an otherwise devastating Partner experience. ”
Additionally, Marcel is pursuing a passion project to help infuse new talent into our industry. It’s widely known that there is a persistent shortage of qualified technicians in the industry today and Marcel has taken it upon himself to reach out to the Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development in Ontario, Canada in an attempt to recognize custom installations as an official trade and to develop a technician career path to the channel from community colleges. He already has a community college that is interested in pursuing a pilot program.
Marcel truly demonstrates an ‘obsess over customers’ mentality and is indeed a partner Pledge Champion.
