There was number of OvrC locations incorrectly reporting that all third-party devices were disconnected dues to an issue that was discovered with the OvrC Pro Application v6.2.0. This release addresses that issue and provides a permanent fix.
Steps to update:
Araknis Routers (AN-110/110W and AN-310) – REBOOT REQUIRED
- These devices will require a reboot to receive the update. As rebooting the router impacts the customer, we recommend that you coordinate a time with your customer to minimize any impact.
OvrC Pro Hubs (OVRC-300-HUB/OVRC-100-HUB)
- These devices have been automatically updated through our normal process of managing the hub. If there is an instance where the hub is not updated, simply insure there is an internet connection and reboot the device. On reboot the device will automatically be updated.
- This update will also update the firmware on the device to v5.1.0.6
Control 4 Controllers (CA-Series and EA series)
- No action is required
Pakedge Routers (RK-1 and RT-3100)
- These devices will be automatically updated by 3-June-2021 as part of our normal update process. No reboot is required and there is no impact to your customers.
As always, we continue to evolve our product based on your feedback. Please continue to provide your thoughts and ideas to feedback@ovrc.com. Thanks!
