An RJ45, RS-232 communication interface monitors "heartbeat" signals from the control box, while pre-installed Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol software facilitates the failover process. The Standby box assumes the active IP address if a temporary or permanent event occurs to the Main CBOX. Products that have been abused, modified, or disassembled are not eligible for warranty coverage. For repairs, products must be sent to Snap One� or an authorized service center with an assigned return authorization number (RA).
