On 04/27/2022, we released WattBox firmware version 2.2.1.2 to add several features and bug fixes. Although this firmware went through an extensive Beta program, after its release there have been a few recent reports that, under specific conditions, some units have experienced outlets resetting or turning off without a command issued to the device.
As a precaution, we will be leveraging OvrC to automatically push a previous version of firmware, 2.2.1.0, that eliminates this problem.� We will begin this update on Monday, May 16th. This will not require any action from you and will be transparent to your customer(s) as it does not require any device reboots to take effect.
If you would like to manually update the WattBox firmware, you can do so through OvrC or manual file download from the WattBox product pages on our website.

Spirent Test Center
Allows us to generate multiple data streams simultaneously across our routers and switches. Makes sure there’s no unexpected data drops, packet loss or excessive “jitter” so you can ensure you are meeting multiple standards across the industry.
PoE Loader
Our PoE loader is mainly used for switches. This tool allows us to test class negotiation, overload conditions and port priority. This tool also allows us to fully test the switches capability and reliability under maximum load conditions.

Interoperability is crucial to current networking demands. Regardless of how large or small the installation is, every feature needs to work together, in every scenario. We’ve devoted resources to testing and validation in a variety of equipment setups and configurations so we can ensure reliability, no matter how something is installed.
In addition to our own rigorous internal testing, we also incorporate real-world feedback from our network of beta users who test updates and features in their functional environments so we can monitor performance from a variety of scenarios in the field. This allows us to experience a high level of confidence in real-world performance as updates go out.
